Fa-la-la-la-la

The current Jingle Belles challenge is to incorporate Christmas music into a card. I fell in love with the name of this carol, Carol of the Birds, but wasn't sure if I had ever heard it. I found it on itunes, very Elizabethan. My first attempt, below, is pretty basic. I would like to try something more complex for my second card...but we'll see.

  1. I LOVE this card, Cyndie. My favorite thing about it is that the music is actually the focus, and I like how you've carried the title as a theme.

  2. Love the rustic twine and the repeating birds in the background ... so very glad you joined us at jingle belles ... and what a great carol.

  3. ok, see, you say this card is "BASIC", but i would call it a perfectly balanced C&S design! i love that you've echoed each element a few times... the birds with the background, the holly, etc... this is just so wonderfully balanced and complete as it is, i love it! (having said all that, OF COURSE i'm still anxious to see your 2nd take, should you make one, lol!!!) :) :) :)
